This page explains what information we collect when you use carewithki.com. We've tried to keep it short, and we haven't left anything out.
Reading your preference…
These don't depend on your preference; the site needs them to work: the cookie that keeps you logged in, the record that remembers your cart, security checks and the cookie preference on this page itself. We don't track you with them.
If you allow analytics measurement, we measure how you use the site. We have one aim: to see which pages work, where you get stuck and what you can't find. What we measure on our own server:
If you have an account and are logged in, these records are linked to your account; otherwise they're kept under a random number we give your browser.
If you allow analytics measurement, we also use Google Analytics. This is what goes to Google: the pages you open (with personal parts of the address, such as the order code, search term and email, removed), where you came to the site from (the site's name only), the products you look at and add to your cart, the checkout steps, and the number, amount and products of the order you place. Your name, email, phone, address, what you type into forms and chat, the words you search for and any information about your health are not sent; we don't give Google a number that identifies you (such as a member number). At the same time, Google also receives your IP address and browser information, derives your approximate location (city) and processes it on its servers abroad under its own privacy rules. Google signals and personalised advertising are turned off. Event records in Google Analytics are kept for 2 months and visitor records for at most 14 months.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Recognising your browser on your next visit (random number) | 400 days |
| _ga_9QCKKJX8E9 | Google Analytics | The length and order of your visit (session) | 400 days |
If you don't allow analytics measurement, Google Analytics doesn't run at all; nothing goes to Google for this purpose.
If you allow ad measurement, we use Google Ads' conversion tag to see whether our ads work. When you add a product to your cart, go to checkout and place an order, this goes to Google: the type of event, its amount (in Turkish lira), the order number, whether it's your first order and which page you're on (with personal parts of the address removed). If you came by clicking a Google ad, the click ID goes too. Your name, email, phone, address and the products in your cart are not sent. At the same time, Google also receives your IP address and browser information and processes them under its own privacy rules. Personalised advertising (remarketing) is turned off.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Measuring ad conversions | 90 days |
| _gcl_aw | Google Ads | The click ID, if you came by clicking a Google ad | 90 days |
If you don't allow ad measurement, or you decline it, Google's tag still loads, but Google Ads doesn't write or read cookies (Google's "consent mode"). The events above (type, amount, order number) are sent without cookies; Google also receives your IP address and browser information and uses them to estimate the results of ads in aggregate. No cookie or number that identifies you is used; personalised advertising stays turned off.
If you allow ad measurement, we load Meta's measurement tag (the Meta pixel) to see whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram work. The tag reports these events to Meta: page view, product view, add to cart, starting checkout and purchase. These reports include the product code, quantity, amount, currency and order number. Your name, email, phone, address, what you write in forms and chat, and health information are not sent. Meta processes your IP address and browser information on its servers abroad under its own rules (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. may share it with Meta Platforms, Inc. in the US).
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta | A number that recognises your browser for ad measurement | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta | The click ID, if you came by clicking a Facebook/Instagram ad | 90 days |
If you don't allow it, the Meta pixel doesn't load at all; no information goes to Meta. If you withdraw your permission later, the pixel turns off and Meta's cookies are deleted from your browser.
Even if you don't allow it or you decline, page opens and products added to carts are counted without cookies and without identity: which page was opened, or how many of which product were added to a cart, from which country and province, and with which type of device (phone, tablet, computer), is kept as a per-minute total. Nothing is written to your browser for this count and there's no number belonging to you; your IP address is used only at that moment to derive the country and province, and is not stored. Not a single row can be linked to a person — it's like a total derived from a server log. On the first page you open on the site, where you came from is counted in the same way, as a daily total: ad, search engine, social media or direct visit, and the name of the site you came from (for example google). The ad click ID and the address of the page you came from are not collected.
If you place an order, the same information is added to your order: where you came to the site from on that visit (for example "ad · google" or "organic search · google"). The ad click ID and the address of the page you came from are not stored; this information is used to see whether our ads work.
Our own measurement is done on our own server and this data doesn't leave our server. The exceptions are Google Analytics (only if you allowed analytics measurement), Google Ads ad measurement (without cookies if you didn't allow it) and the Meta pixel (only if you allowed ad measurement), as described above. Apart from Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta pixel, we don't use any other advertising or measurement tool; we don't sell or give your data to data brokers or any other company. We derive the country and provider from your IP address using a dataset on our own server — your address isn't sent to an outside service for this.
Detailed browsing records are kept for 13 months. At the end of this period the rows are deleted; all that remains are daily totals that can't be linked to a person (such as "how many visits there were that day"). The measurement cookie and Google Analytics cookies stay in your browser for at most 400 days, and Google Ads and Meta cookies for at most 90 days. Event records in Google Analytics are kept for 2 months and visitor records for at most 14 months.
We don't keep the IP address itself for long: as soon as the country and provider have been derived, it's deleted within 7 days at most. The only exception is visits where you add a product to your cart. The IP address of that visit is kept for 30 days so that abandoned carts and possible misuse can be looked into. Only the company's authorised manager can see it, and every viewing is logged. It's deleted automatically when the period ends; if you close your account, it's deleted straight away.
You can change either permission at any time in the box above; when you remove a permission, its cookies (our own measurement cookie, or Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta cookies) are deleted, Google and Meta are told that permission hasn't been given, and no new records are kept. If you'd like records kept earlier to be deleted, write to us — all your rights under the KVKK are set out in the Privacy Notice.
The site works completely normally. Nothing belonging to you is stored; only a counter that can't be linked to anyone goes up, along the lines of "how many times was this page opened today". We keep it so that the rates we measure aren't misleading.
